WE are happy to report that club chairman Chris Hamilton is on the mend nicely in hospital after major heart surgery.
He had the operation on Tuesday and by Thursday he was back on a general ward and said to be making good progress.
It isn’t yet known when he will be back home, but he then faces a few weeks of rest and recuperation.
Needless to say the good wishes of everyone at Roughyeds are with him as we look forward to our big game against Doncaster at The Vestacare Stadium tomorrow (Sunday), kick-off 3pm.
It is probably the first game Chris will have missed in his 21 years at the club.
