DANNY Grimshaw and Ben Davies are in line to play their first games of the season in Oldham’s team to play Whitehaven at the Vestacare Stadium tomorrow (Sunday), kick-off 3pm.
Both are included in the 19-man squad, replacing Ben Calland and Luke Nelmes.
Calland didn’t play against Workington last Sunday, but Nelmes was on the bench.
Also in last week’s 19, but not in the final 17, was young hooker Jamie Greenwood.
19 to face Whitehaven:
Bent, Bowman, Brook, Davies, Greenwood, Grimshaw, Gwaze, Hawkyard, Hewitt, Holmes, Jones-Bishop, Joy, Kershaw, Law, McComb, Owen, Spencer, Whittel, Wilkinson.
Fans attending the game will have the opportunity to enter a ballot for choice of official club logos, which can be seen on the Roughyeds website and are also in tomorrow’s match-day programme.
Club officials will be keenly watching the size of the attendance against a backcloth of financial worries across the game.
They were encouraged by last week’s 765 and will be hoping for a similar figure tomorrow, especially considering the forecast of more mild, Spring-like weather.
