Listen to Shez on BBC Radio Leeds

Brendan Sheridan, our assistant coach, will be featured on BBC Radio Leeds tomorrow (Friday) to tell the inside story of how he beat Covid-19 thanks to the skills, commitment and courage of NHS doctors, nurses and other staff.

Shez, as he is popularly known in rugby league circles, will be interviewed by Richard Stead on Radio Leeds at 8am tomorrow as part of the station’s Breakfast Show.

Aged 41, Shez is recuperating at his Dewsbury home after spending three weeks in Pinderfields Hospital at Wakefield, including the first two weeks in the Intensive Care Unit where he was in an induced coma and breathing with the aid of a ventilator.

He is using the media interest in his case to praise the wonderful work of the NHS and to stress the importance of everyone sticking to social-distancing Government regulations as the weeks go by.
