WHILE important preparations continue for a return to Betfred Championship rugby in 2021, with more signings to come, we need to reach closure on issues relative to this ill-fated and curtailed 2020 campaign.
One of them concerns this year’s season tickets and the options we offered to fans who bought season tickets for a campaign that was put on hold after only a few games and has since been declared null and void and confined to the record books.
Some time ago we either emailed or wrote to our season-ticket holders, offering various options.
Most have replied — a big thank-you for that — but a small number have still to respond and we need that information as quickly as possible now please to allow us to move forward in these critical times of unprecedented uncertainty and financial lockdown.
Anyone who has still to tell us which option they prefer is urged to get in touch as soon as possible, either by email to: enquiries@roughyeds.co.uk or by letter to: Oldham RLFC, Vestacare Stadium, Whitebank Rd, Limehurst Village, OLDHAM,
OL8 3JH, confirming in writing which option they wish to take.
We really do need to get this information NOW please, so we are operating a deadline of 5pm next Friday, October 2 when we will assume that anyone who has not responded by then is happy to help the club, as many have already done, by taking up the option to donate.
To go down the deadline route is not something we would choose to do, but it is perhaps one way of speeding up the process and drawing it to a close.

“The co-operation of those who have still to respond would be hugely appreciated.”
