THE condolences of Oldham RLFC go out to the family of former club committee man David Lord, who has died after supporting the club all his life.
Believed to be the last member elected to the Watersheddings committee before the club became a plc, David became a club official in the mid-1980s and was also a qualified rugby league referee and touch-judge. He also worked tirelessly behind the scenes, including helping with the club lottery, for many years.
The prayers and thoughts of everyone at Oldham RLFC are with the family at this sad time.
