Following the announcement last night regarding away fans’ travel, we have now had updated guidance from the RFL and the Government.
There is a real focus on travel to matches. This includes:
Ensuring fans are directed to follow the Guidance on Safer Travel: Coronavirus (COVID-19): safer travel guidance for passengers - GOV.UK
We need to highlight the mandatory requirement to wear a face covering during travel on public transport, including instructions to those who are exempt, and the current advice for travelling within England.
In addition, fans should note they are discouraged from shouting, singing or chanting in all settings.
We are not “back to normal” and this guidance is there to keep everybody safe. We ask that people adhere to the rules set out by each club.
