Thunder call up exciting young talent

NEWCASTLE Thunder have made a change in their 21-man squad for Sunday’s Betfred Championship game against Roughyeds at Kingston Park (3pm), calling up young centre Isaac Nokes, who has been playing for the club’s under-19s.

He is described on the Thunder website as “an exciting, hot, young talent”.

On-loan centre Sam Halsall, from Wigan Warriors, remains in the squad, having extended his loan agreement.

Tickets for Sunday’s game remain on sale via Thunder’s online box office, priced at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £5 for under-16s.

With track-and-trace requirements still needed to be met, all tickets must be bought in advance with sales closing at midnight tomorrow (Saturday, June 19).
