The RFL has reminded all Rugby League fans that the 2022 season starts in earnest this coming weekend with the second round of the Betfred Challenge Cup.
Roughyeds follow up their pre-season friendly against Wakefield Trinity, which finished in a 24-24 draw, with a cup-tie against Lock Lane of Castleford at the Vestacare Stadium on Sunday, kick-off 6pm.
The RFL also reminds fans that at 7.45pm TONIGHT - that’s the same time as all Premier Sport’s Monday night matches will kick off - there will be a preview of the new season on Our League.
They will have a range of personalities in the studio as they look ahead to the Betfred Championship, Betfred League One, the Women’s Super League and Challenge Cup and the second round of the Men’s Challenge Cup this weekend.
It promises to be another brilliant evening of rugby league at the Vestacare Stadium on Sunday (6pm) when our Roughyeds go head to head with a Lock Lane outfit whose already-sound reputation has been enhanced considerably by their first round defeat of Thatto Heath Crusaders, current NCL champions and arguably the top amateur side in the country.
