YOUNG utility back Kian Morgan, who was awarded two trophies at the Roughyeds’ 2022 Presentation Evening, was also a winner on the following week’s Club Cash lottery.
They say some things come in threes – and after winning the supporters’ Player-Of-The-Year Trophy and the club’s new Rising Star Trophy, 21-year-old Kian won £50 on the Roughyeds’ lottery.
“What a good do,”
said the play-anywhere Kian, who scored 11 tries in 15 games last season, playing in most positions across the back division.
“I didn’t know because I don’t check, but as a complete surprise it’s even better.”
Entry into Club Cash costs only £1 a week – a real bargain when considering there are SIXTEEN guaranteed prizes every week, comprising a first prize of £1,000, a second prize of £100, two prizes of £50, two prizes of £25 and ten consolation prizes, each of £10.
In addition there’s a weekly jackpot of £500 which is worked on a different system and is not guaranteed. More often than not, it’s won, but if it isn’t the £500 is rolled over to the next week up to a maximum of £10,000.
All that for £1 a week and you can pay by one of several ways to suit you. A lot of punters, who love the idea of a weekly flutter while at the same time helping and supporting their local professional rugby league club, prefer to maintain regular contact by paying a collector £2 a fortnight on the doorstep.
Others prefer to pay by cheque, credit or debit card, bank transfer or even standing order. The choice is yours. We prefer standing order because its the easiest for you and us, but our collectors are more than happy to call and one of the advantages for you is that they will provide that week’s results sheet.
Other than that, the draw takes place every Wednesday afternoon and the weekly results are posted on our website.
