WE are now into the last few days before the club’s 25th Anniversary dinner at Oldham Event Centre, which is to be held this coming Friday, November 25, 7pm for 7.30pm at the Oldham Event Centre, Boundary Park with access off Broadway.
Guest speaker is former St Helens prop Kyle Amor, whose media career has been enhanced with his considerable involvement with the BBC’s magnificent coverage of our recent World Cup, and the celebrated Pete Emmett, who was MC at the annual Players Association dinner at St Herbert’s on Broadway, will again feature heavily as MC at this one.
Roughyeds believe the combination of Amor and Emmett will go down a treat, just as it did when Emmett and Paul Sculthorpe teamed up at the Players’ Association dinner.
Like that major social event, dress code will be lounge suit or smart casual.
Tickets are the same price, £35, and will also include a three-course dinner plus coffee and mints.
Players and coaches will be there, as will members of Rugby Oldham and the Players Association, both of whom have booked tables. The Heritage Trust will also have a presence.
The Event Centre can be found in the Broadway Stand at Boundary Park, home of Oldham Athletic, with access off Broadway and lots of available car parking.
