Disabled fans' survey

THE disability campaign group Level Playing Field has launched its third annual survey – and disabled Rugby League fans are being asked for their views on matchday experiences at the sports’ stadia.

All pro clubs, including Oldham RLFC, have been encouraged to promote the survey to their own support base, either by adapting the release at The Home of Rugby League (rugby-league.com) or by sharing related RFL social posts.

RL Together puts inclusion at the forefront of high-profile events such as the mid-season internationals against France, cup finals and grand finals. Professional clubs too are delivering inclusion fixtures – a platform for connecting with communities and showcasing what’s happening on the ground at club level.

Castleford Tigers became the first Betfred Super League club to deliver an inclusion fixture, when they entertained St Helens last March. Since then, many more clubs from across Super League and the Betfred Championship have followed suit, including, most lately, Salford Red Devils and York Knights.

These games will also be inclusive fixtures: Toulouse v Bradford (June 24); Keighley v Whitehaven (June 24); Leeds v Hull KR (July 14); St Helens v Leeds (July 28); Wakefield v Warrington (July 30); Wigan v Castleford.

The survey closes on June 25.
