GOING straight into Oldham’s 21-man squad is winger Andy Gabriel, who the club is delighted to announce has joined on loan.
The Dewsbury man arrives with the club’s leading try scorer, Pat Ah Van, unavailable for selection.
He is another adding experience to the side, having scored 95 tries in 150 appearances at Championship and League One level.
“He is somebody I respect,” said the Roughyeds boss. “He’s a prolific try scorer and he’s one we’re delighted to have on board.
“Hopefully we can create some space for him so that we can utilise his pace. He is coming to us for an opportunity and to put his best foot forward.”
Joining Gabriel in the squad is half-back Jamie Ellis whose signing was announced this morning.
Elsewhere, prop Josh Johnson – who is yet to make his debut for the club – is included after being unavailable last week.
Zac Baker is also included, having served his One Match Penalty Notice picked up in the Doncaster defeat.
It is another huge game for Stuart Littler’s men with Hunslet going second having beaten Doncaster in recent weeks.
Roughyeds could leapfrog them with a win at the South Leeds Stadium this Sunday.
Admission prices, for the 3pm kick off, are £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and free for under-16s.
You can purchase them on the Hunslet ticketing page.
