OUR club chairman Bill Quinn has confirmed that he and his board will visit the business premises of every company that sponsors the club in 2024 to give the club a better idea of how to promote that company as part of the sponsorship arrangement.
”We are committed to giving value for money and promoting our sponsors’ businesses the best we can, but to do that properly we need to look at what they," said the Roughyeds’ chief.
Oldham RLFC will also set up a Network Group in which the club directors will meet their sponsors at least five times per year.
Managing director Mike Ford, meanwhile, has reiterated that the move to Boundary Park for the ground-share scheme with Oldham Athletic was key to everything his board will be doing and has already done to raise public awareness of the club. He was thrilled to see 200 youngsters, aged between 11 and 14, turn up for a Community Development Plan pathway project, but shocked when he asked some of the boys to name the colours Oldham played in and they didn’t know.
”Perhaps that shows how much work needs to be done," he said, “but we have exciting plans for the future and we are really looking forward to working with Oldham Athletic who have done all sorts of things to help us to get started.”
Sponsorships for 2024 range from £850 to sponsor a player to a top-of-the-range £35,000 for main shirt sponsorship, but you can also gain entry to a match and enjoy a three-course meal for £48 — a saving of £10 — or watch a game after a two-course meal for £38.
You can also hire a box for £7,800 for all home league games.
