IT is important that our supporters are made aware of the latest situation regarding a new date for the postponed home game against our play-off rivals Workington Town.
It is more than likely to be a mid-week date in August, but the club can’t confirm that, or announce a new date, until Avro get their new-season football fixtures.
In the meantime, we are looking forward to this week-end’s double-header against North Wales Crusaders at the Vestacare Stadium, with our newly-formed women’s team kicking off at 12.15pm and the men also going head to head with Crusaders in an important Betfred League One game which starts at 3pm.
A ticket will allow fans entry to both games, costing £16 for adults, £10 for 65s and over, £5 for students and FREE for under-16s.
However, the youngsters who have been taking part in the Community Development Programme at Melrose will be at the game (free for all under-16s) and a parent or guardian of those attending can get in to the Oldham-Crusaders match for £5 with a ticket obtained from Joe Warburton at training on Saturday.
