JUST a reminder that it’s the monthly meeting of the Oldham Players’ Association at Springhead Sports and Social Club tonight (7.45pm) and that Mike Ford, Oldham’s managing director and interim head coach is expected to be present.
All current and past players are invited to attend the meeting and listen to what Mike has to say about the Oldham RLFC board’s ambitions for the future and their plans for the club going forward.
That’s 7.45pm TONIGHT at what used to be known as Springhead Liberal Club, now called Springhead Sports and Social Club.
In Ford’s first game in direct charge of the squad, Oldham won 56-4 at Cornwall on Sunday, scoring 11 tries in the process, four of them by 20-year-old on-loan centre Connor Carr, who has chosen to learn his trade at Oldham while on long-term loan from Huddersfield Giants.
