Anyone who watched the NRL Grand Final on telly will tell you what a magnificent game it was. Well, this pic of Penrith Panthers’ superstar Nathan Cleary and our former winger Joe McNicholas was taken soon after the Panthers’ Grand Final win over Brisbane Broncos.
Cleary single-handedly turned the game in Paithers favour in the final quarter, scoring the winning try himself. Joe, now on the Panthers’ backroom staff, wasn’t going to miss this photo opportunity and the chance to send the pic back home.
