OUR very active partners and backers, the YEDS Supporters’ Group, is very mindful that Christmas isn’t the happy and joyful time that most of us enjoy. To some people, it’s an expense they can ill afford, a massive worry, a time when they want to give their children the world, buy simply can’t.
It’s made all the more distressing when children’s friends get loads of stuff from Santa and then ask: “What did you get? Show me.”
With this in mind, YEDS are planning deliveries of goods etc to those in need at Christmas. They’ve done it before; they’ll do it again, but this year there is more need than ever before, hence the YEDS request for donations from ALL fans.
“The more donations of materials we receive, the more we can help others,” said YEDS official Jamie Hollingworth. “
We can collect or the donations can be dropped off. We need donations by December 1 to give us time to go through them and deliver. We ask potential donors to consider some of the items listed below and then to contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements for collection or delivery.”
