YEDS, our go-ahead Supporters’ Group, are excited to announce that they will be running a £10 bus to several away games in Betfred League One, thus making away travel with YEDS the cheapest in Rugby League, according to the group’s publicity machine.
For £10 you can travel with YEDS to away league games at Workington Town, Hunslet, Keighley Cougars, Midlands Hurricanes, North Wales Crusaders and Newcastle Thunder, some of these involving long trips to places like Workington, Birmingham, Colwyn Bay and Newcastle in the North-East

YEDS are still working on the price structure for making the second away games at Workington and Keighley (loop fixtures) subsidised and thus similar to those they have already announced.
A YEDS spokesman said:
“It is again thanks to Oldham RLFC chairman, Bill Quinn that we can offer this and we can’t thank Bill enough. He has said he wants to make it as easy as possible to get Oldham fans going away and he is keen to get both fans who may not normally go away and lots of children on these coaches to cheer on the lads all season.
“We also must thank Jamie Hollingworth, Dave Thomas and Peter Dawson for all their work behind the scenes with the Yeds Supporters Group, both with the travel and everything else that’s involved in running the group, especially organising the coaches, organising all of the extras on the coaches, getting the coaches fully booked and the website/social media work to get the information out there to everyone,- giving up personal time both through the week and on game days to help support the club and its supporters.
