Featherstone's new signings

FEATHERSTONE have completed two new signings in a bid to bolster their injury-hit squad for tomorrow’s game against Oldham at Bower Fold.

Hull FC youngster Jordan Abdull (20), who has played 27 first-team games for the Black and Whites, has signed on a month’s loan and former St Helens and Bradford Bulls winger Jamie Foster has signed for Rovers on a short-term deal.

Both are named in Jon Sharp’s 19-man squad for tomorrow as well as former Castleford, Wakefield and Huddersfield forward Steve Snitch, who is set to play his first game of the year after being injured in pre-season.

Squad: Craven, Johnson, Taulapapa, Thackeray, Griffin, Bostock, Snitch, Davies, Hardman, Ormondroyd, Cording, Cooper, Tagg, Coventry, Blockley, Hill, Foster, Abdull, Baldwin.

A preview on the Rovers website, predicting a Featherstone win by 16, says the battle of the front-rows could be decisive.
