Get your Cup-tie tickets NOW!

TIME is running out for Oldham RL fans to save nearly 40 per cent on admission prices for our fifth round Ladbrokes Challenge Cup tie at Featherstone on Sunday (3pm kick-off).

You have until 5pm tomorrow (Wednesday, April 19) to buy tickets at hugely-reduced prices from Oldham Athletic’s ticket office at Park, which is open daily from 9am to 5pm. Please be aware that sales will be CASH ONLY.

Buy BEFORE the deadline and you pay as follows: adults £12, concessions £8, juniors £5.

Buy AFTER the deadline, or at the turnstiles on Sunday, and you pay: adults £18, concessions £12, juniors £5.

Because of the current construction work going on at Whitebank, Athletic have kindly offered to sell these tickets on our behalf and make it easy for our fans to pop into their ticket office down Sheepfoot Lane near the Royal Oldham Hospital.

We hope as many fans as possible will take advantage of the HUGE SAVINGS and of Athletic’s kind gesture in making tickets available at their ticket office.

Our players have enjoyed a good Easter in the KP Championship, beating Swinton Lions at Bower Fold on Good Friday and putting on a battling performance at Halifax on Easter Monday to go down 16-14 and scoring three tries to Fax’s two.

Another big game is in prospect at the LD Nutrition Stadium on Sunday where we should have had at least a point when we lost 8-6 there in the league in February.

As it’s a cup tie the gate is shared by both clubs so apart from giving the boys your backing on the field, you have the satisfaction of knowing that some of YOUR hard-earned admission money is going to the aid of YOUR club, and not all of it to Featherstone Rovers, as it would in a league game.

Back in 1967 Featherstone won the Challenge Cup for the first time, beating Barrow at Wembley.

To mark 50 years since that great occasion in their club’s history, Rovers will welcome as many supporters as possible to the LD Nutrition on Sunday to witness what they hope will be another memorable Challenge Cup event.

They want to party while, equally, we want to keep up the good work we produced over Easter and make it a memorable occasion not for Featherstone, but for Oldham RLFC and our loyal and faithful fans.

To help us to go flat out for a place in the draw for round six, which will see the introduction of the remaining Super League clubs, we need a large and vociferous band of Roughyeds supporters at the LD Nutrition.

So get your tickets BEFORE 5pm on Wednesday (April 19), make huge savings on cost, and look forward to a cup-tie that has all the makings of being a cracker.
