Toulouse defeat Oldham in France

Despite a spirited second-half performance from Oldham in Blagnac, Toulouse Olympique had the game sewn-up by half-time running in six unanswered tries.

Oldham regrouped during the break and were first on the scoreboard in the second half following a Kieran Gill try.

Further tries from Joe Burke and Richard Lepori demonstrated the team’s -say-die attitude but the struggle to repair the first-half damage was too great a task. The final score was 58-18 to Toulouse

The first meeting of the two sides was played-out in front of a large following of Roughyeds supporters. At the final hooter, players and coaching staff mixed together on the touchline to show their mutual appreciation.
