TLH Auctioneers are new sponsors

TLH Auctioneers of Chadderton are the latest addition to Oldham Rugby League Club’s sponsorship portfolio.

In an agreement covering the remainder of this season, TLH will be the main sponsors of a special one-off Summer Bash playing kit which will be worn by the Oldham players only once in their big televised clash with derby rivals Rochdale Hornets at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool on Saturday, May 27.

TLH Auctioneers will also feature, for the rest of the season, on kit worn by the club’s head trainer, doctor, water carriers, ball boys and physiotherapists as well as on the Oldham RLFC players’ warm-up tops.

Said club chairman Chris Hamilton: “We are delighted to get a new sponsor on board and one with such a high profile as TLH Auctioneers.

“We are pleased to have secured a deal and we are looking forward to working with them and to having their name associated with the club.”

Hazel Slater, office manager for TLH Auctioneers, Westwood Industrial Estate, Chadderton said: “The agreement is for the rest of this season, initially, but I’m practically 100 per cent sure it will continue for next season and beyond.

“We are very excited about this new partnership with Oldham RLFC.. We like to get involved with the local community and this is our latest move in that direction.

“People get a wrong idea about auctions and auctioneers. We’re an international company with dealings from all around the world and a data base of more than 60,000 registered customers.”

The special Summer Bash kit will be worn only once. The shirts, each signed by the player who wears them, will then go up for auction with all money raised to be split between the Oldham RLFC Community Trust and Maggie’s Oldham, the cancer support centre that will open next month on the site of the Royal Oldham Hospital.

Fans can buy replicas of the limited-edition shirts priced at £45.00, but they must be ordered within the next seven days because of production deadlines, and paid for in advance. Contact the club on 07904898177.
