TIM Sheens, Hull KR’s Australian boss, has made three changes in his 19-man squad for Sunday’s game against Oldham at Bower Fold (3pm).
Roughyeds hope there will be a big turn-out of Oldham fans for three main reasons — 1, so that Hull KR supporters don’t out-number local fans by too many; 2, to give Scott Naylor’s boys plenty of vocal backing; 3, to help the club financially, given that it will be our first game at Bower Fold for two months.
We’ve eight games left in the regular Championship campaign — and six of them are at Bower Fold where we usually give a good account of ourselves.
Please give yourselves a little more time than usual to get into the stadium because we anticipate a good crowd and there will be thorough security checks as people pass through the turnstiles.
Sheens has left out Jake Butler-Fleming, Kieran Moss and Andrew Heffernan, a young Aussie centre who has just signed a new two-year deal, and brought in prop Mitch Clark after injury and two young outside backs in Will Oakes and Joe Wardill.
