OLDHAM RLFC and Regenda Homes, in partnership, are laying on a programme of summer activities for children aged five to fourteen during two weeks of the school holidays.
They will take place on three days next week at the Millennium Green, Tenants Hall, Blackthorn Road, Limehurst Village, OL8 3PF and will be repeated during the week beginning Monday, August 28.
Entry is FREE to all, just turn up 15 minutes before the session your child is interested in and sign to give parental consent.
Young people who have completed this week’s Oldham RLFC Junior Sports Leaders’ course, held in conjunction with Hathershaw College and Oldham’s Respect our Community Awards (ROCA), will be helping out and organising.
Tuesday, August 1: 10am to 11am, multi skills (Key stage 1, ages 5 to 7); 11.30am to 12.30pm, dodgeball (KS 2, ages 8 to 11); 1.30pm to 2.30pm, kwick cricket (KS3, ages 12 to 14).
Wednesday, August 2: 10am to 11am, kerby (KS1, ages 5 to 7); 11.30am to 12,30pm, kwick cricket (KS2, ages 8 to 11); 1.30pm to 2.30pm, dodgeball (KS3, ages 12 to 14).
Friday, August 4: 10am to 11am, 5-a-side (KS1, ages 5 to 7); 11.30am to 12.30pm, 5-a-side (KS2, ages 8 to 11); 1.30pm to 2.30pm, 5-a-side (KS3, ages 12 to 14).
These programmes will be repeated on Tuesday, August 29, Wednesday, August 30 and Friday, September 1.
