TIM Sheens, the Hull KR head coach, has named a strong 19-man squad for Sunday’s fifth round Ladbrokes Challenge Cup tie against Oldham at Bower Fold (3pm).
Although tickets have been on sale, the tie is NOT all-ticket and cash turnstiles will be in operation as usual.
Danny McGuire, Justin Carney and Robbie Mulhern are not selected and skipper Shaun Lunt will be out for up to eight weeks with a knee injury.
Into the squad come Josh Johnson, Will Oakes, Will Dagger and Joe Cator.
Squad: Adam Quinlan, Junior Vaivai, Ryan Shaw, Nick Scruton, Mose Masoe, Maurice Blair, James Grenwood, Ben Kavanagh, James Donaldson, Tommy Lee, Matty Marsh, Liam Salter, Josh Johnson, Chris Atkin, Will Oakes, Will Dagger, Jordan Walne, Joe Cator, Danny Tickle.
No fewer than 15 of those were in the 19 for last week’s Betfred Super League 40-26 defeat at Warrington Wolves.
Junior Vaivai, a centre who has played in the NRL for Souths and Penrith, will make his second appearance for the Robins, having made his debut at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
