Ever-present Bridge given a rest

IN-FORM Danny Bridge, one of only three ever-presents this season so far, is rested for Oldham’s trip to Coventry tomorrow (Sun).

The second-rower has played nearly every minute of every game, but he is not in the 19-man squad from which Scott Naylor will announce his line-up one hour before kick-off.

Compared with the 19 for last week’s Doncaster game, Ben Davies comes in for the first time this year instead of dual-reg man Gavin Bennion.

Also returning to the squad are Zack McComb, Steven Nield and Danny Rasool, who replace Bridge, on-loan Luke Hooley and Kenny Hughes.

Squad: Bent, Briscoe, Crook, Davies, Hewitt, Holmes, Johnson, Jones, Joy, Kershaw, Langtree, McComb, Nelmes, Nield, Owen, Rasool, Reid, West, Wilkinson.
