OUR first game in Betfred League 1 next season will be a cracker at the Vestacare Stadium against Workington Town on Sunday, February 17, kick-off 3pm.
The Cumbrians beat Bradford Bulls home and away last season but lost to them in the Grand Final.
They are considered to be among the favourites for promotion and will come to the Vestacare geared up for an opener against another fancied team — your new-look Roughyeds !
For curtain-up we couldn’t have asked for anything better, or anything tougher.

No better time then to remind fans that the club office at the Vestacare Stadium is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday (10am to 3pm) for the sale of season tickets which provide a lifeline for the club during the close season when there are still considerable outgoing with little income.
