Buy online and give ORSA a tonic

ORSA (Oldham’s Roughyeds Supporters’ Association) officials wish to thank fans who have signed up with the easyfundraising scheme and in some cases have already made purchases that qualified for donations to the cause.

As this is a long-term fund-raising idea, ORSA wishes to ensure that momentum for the scheme is maintained by increasing awareness to the wider fan base and ensuring that it becomes a habit of supporters who shop online.

The scheme could ultimately raise substantial funds that will benefit the support ORSA gives to the Roughyeds’ playing and coaching staff.

If fans who shop online, for goods or travel arrangements, take the idea on board they will be helping to give that support without any cost to themselves.

When sponsorship is difficult to obtain and funding arrangements for the game as a whole are looking precarious, that in itself would maintain confidence in what is valuable to all who care about the future of Oldham RLFC.

Details are can be found here under the ORSA banner and on the ORSA Twitter account at @RoughyedSupport.

However, as a brief summary, it relates to a scheme in which donations are made by the retailer/organisation with whom you have made an online purchase, as a thank-you for that purchase.

To connect to the scheme, please visit the website at www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/orsa/ where you can register and view the offers available with any of over 3,500 retailers etc.

The offers vary from time to time and can be quite seasonal, an example of that being especially good offers on holiday/travel bookings at this time of year.
Please spread the word to fans and friends alike.
