ROUGHYEDS fans get everywhere !
Keen supporter Rob Long, known by many fellow fans and players as ‘Rob the gardener’, is currently on the trip of a lifetime to New Zealand.
“As you can see from the pictures I’m flying the flag for the club,”
said Rob, who is proudly wearing his Oldham RLFC top on the other side of the world.
We don’t know whether he’ll be back for our first home game of the season against derby rivals Rochdale Hornets for the Law Cup on Sunday, January 20 (3pm), but knowing ‘the Gardener’s’ enthusiasm for club and team we wouldn’t back against it.
In the meantime he’s doing his bit to spread the word in a country that loves its rugby.
