The funeral of Bernard Halford, secretary of the Oldham RL Past Players’ Association, who died last week, will be at St Mary’s Church, Failsworth next Wednesday, April 10, at 11am.
Bernard was better known as a retired secretary of Manchester City, a post he held for more than 40 years.
Because of the funeral, the Oldham RLFC office will be closed next Wednesday and, instead, will open next Thursday between 9am and noon.
Next week’s opening hours, therefore, will be as follows:
- Monday, 10am to 3pm
- Thursday, 9am to noon
- Friday, 10am to 3pm
