FANS who went on our Roughyeds’ club trip to Wembley last year voted it a smash-hit and have been asking for details of this year’s big day out on Saturday, August 24.
The major difference this year is that there will be TWO major finals on the same bill — the Coral Challenge Cup final. starting at 3pm, to be followed by the inaugural 1895 Cup final, kicking off at 5.30pm.
There are several big hitters in the last eight of the Coral Challenge Cup, plus the intriguing prospect of a semi-final appearance by either Bradford Bulls or Halifax from the Betfred Championship.
The cost of this year’s trip will also include the final of the new 1895 Cup in which Oldham are through to the second round with another home tie against Doncaster to come as reward for a superb 48-12 win against Betfred League 1 leaders Whitehaven in the first round.
Seats will again be in Club Wembley as part of a deal reached between the RFL and the Roughyeds and all those on the trip will again get an opportunity to take part in the pre-match parade around the national stadium, one of the most iconic sporting venues in the world.
The price of £65 per head includes return executive coach travel, a Club Wembley ticket (value £55) for both games and a place in the parade as well as a great time guaranteed on the coach.
A deposit of £20 (or full payment) secures your place on this trip with the balance to be paid in full before July 31. Bookings can be made online; at the club offices; or pre-match at home games in the club shop.
The offices are open each week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10am and 3pm.
Payment online is via debit or credit card and in person (office or shop) via cash or cheque.
We are hoping to take bigger numbers this year following the great success of last year’s trip so please book early!
