Players actively supporting ORSA

DESPITE the small crowd of 283 at the Oldham v Doncaster 1895 Cup-tie, ORSA had a successful fund-raising raffle in which non-playing members of the squad helped out with sales. ORSA wishes to thank supporters for their enthusiastic support of the event.

Thanks to encouragement from Jack Spencer, players have also been signing up for ‘Easyfundraising’ in which ORSA benefit every time a member shops on line at organisations which are in the scheme.

“We’ve had a sudden increase in support from those signing up for ‘Easyfundraising’, which we believe is down to Jack and the lads,”

said a spokesperson for ORSA, the Roughyeds Supporters Association.

“Jack has realised how simple it is to register and he appreciates the significance of the available ‘free donations’ in terms of how much ORSA can help the squad with its requirements.”

Hard-working members of ORSA hope more fans will follow the squad’s example and sign up for ‘Easyfundraising’ which doesn’t cost the fan a penny but significantly increases ORSA income whenever a purchase is made.
