ROUGHYEDS have launched their 2021 season-ticket campaign with the great news that prices are pegged at this year’s levels and that payment can be made in three monthly instalments.
Fans making Early-Bird purchases before 11.59pm on January 15, 2001 will get the equivalent of THREE free games out of the 13 home games in the Betfred Championship, all of which are valid on the season ticket.
If the worst happens and spectators are not allowed into grounds at the start of the season due to ongoing anti-Covid regulations, non season-ticket holders will be required to make a pay-to-view fee (still to be decided) to watch games online, but those fans who have bought season tickets will have free access to all home AND away games until such time as supporters are allowed back into stadiums.
In view of these unprecedented times of hardship and also the size and quality of the squad that has been established for 2021, the club is hoping supporters will make special efforts to purchase season tickets, while appreciating the difficulties many are facing in this world-wide pandemic.
Said chairman Chris Hamilton:
“We are still very grateful for all the support we were given by season-ticket holders, sponsors and others when Covid forced our 2020 season to be curtailed.
“Everyone is hoping the 2021 season will be a fresh start and with a bigger and better squad in place we are hoping people will take the opportunity to buy their season tickets and to buy them early so they can take advantage of the best discounts.
“With three matches free for Early-Bird buyers, we feel these represent great value for money with an adult seat holder saving £57 and a pensioner saving £51.
“We are all hoping, of course, that by the start of the season, fans will be allowed in to watch our new-look squad in action, but if that is not the case, season-ticket holders will be able to watch all our games, home and away, for free online, while non season-ticket holders will have to come up with a pay-to-view fee which is similar to the arrangement that is applying in football.
“This is a rallying call to our supporters in the hope that their efforts will help us to get through this period of continued hardship and difficulty. We are not alone in this, we know that, but we are battling on; signing lots of good players; looking forward to 2021 with eager expectation; and, with the backing of our loyal and always enthusiastic band of brothers among our fans, moving forward with a collective determination to come out of this pandemic in a stronger position on and off the field than we were pre-lockdown last March.”
Fans who wish to use the payment-instalment plan, spread over three monthly payments, need to ring 07904 898177 or email enquiries@roughyeds.co.uk, providing name, address, type of ticket required and contact telephone number and the club will get in touch.
Applications to use the payment plan must be made up to and including December 31, 2020, after which it will no longer be available.
The first of the three equal instalments will be taken on application, with instalments two and three paid monthly afterwards.

Seats: adult £190; conc (65plus) £170; juniors (under-16s) £40; Standing: adult £170, conc (65plus) £150; juniors (under-16) £20.
Payment for season-tickets is by card online or by card or cash in the Roughyeds office at the Vestacare Stadium, which will be open at the following times:
Tomorrow (Thursday, December 17), 5pm to 6pm; Saturday (December 19),10am to noon; Tuesday (December 22), 4pm to 5.30pm; Wednesday (December 23), 4pm to 6pm; Monday, (December 28), 1pm to 3pm; Monday (January 4), 4pm to 6pm;Wednesday (January 6), 5pm to 6pm; Thursday (January 7), 5pm to 6pm.
Match-day prices are as follows:
Seats: adults £19; conc £17; juniors £5; Standing: adults £17; conc £15; juniors £2.
- Merchandise for pre-Christmas delivery is expected soon and an announcement will be made when it arrives. Merchandise to be posted out will be despatched on delivery day. Merchandise to be collected can be picked up at the office during the dates and times given above, once the ‘arrival’ alert has been sent out.
