WE are going online with match-day programmes this season, starting now with the first issue for tomorrow’s first-round Betfred Challenge Cup tie against Barrow Raiders at Bower Fold.
For those fans watching the game on Our League — free to season-ticket holders, £4.95 for everyone else if purchased before midnight, £10 afterwards — please remember the tie kicks off at 12.45pm.
Season-ticket holders do NOT require a new activation code. The one used for the Halifax game last week will allow automatic access to tomorrow’s game.
We hope you all enjoy the new online programme, which can be accessed FREE for season-ticket holders.
For everyone else we are asking £15 for FULL-SEASON access and there will be a programme online before every home game in cup or league.
Season-ticket holders go to the Roughyeds Store and select a subscription to the programme. They enter a code and the subscription becomes free of charge.
Non season-ticket holders, without the code, do the same thing but have to pay the £15.
Once people have purchased, or in the case of season-ticket holders have attained a free code to the subscription, they can then see the programme products in the store. They are automatically elevated to a level that permits access on purchase.
People don’t have to go through a checkout procedure every week, the Digital Matchday Programme product simply says “Download” and is available to logged-in users.
The code has been emailed to season-ticket holders and the programme released on line. We can now accept a £15 subscription FOR THE FULL SEASON.
All subscribers will then receive an email to remind them when a new programme is available. All they need to do then is follow the link in the email and hit download.
More and more clubs are going online with programmes, for obvious reasons, and we believe you will find ours a good read and very informative for all fans.
Last year’s ‘normal’ or printed copy went on sale at £3, so by making the online version, which we believe to be even better, free for season-ticket holders and only £15 for a full season for everyone else, we firmly believe we are offering a good deal too.
Like every other source of income, it will also be important for the health and financial well-being of the club in these unusual times when we play behind closed doors.
