OUR Betfred Championship game against Whitehaven next weekend has been brought forward to next Saturday, May 8 with a 12.45pm kick-off.
It was originally scheduled for Sunday, May 9 (3pm), but it will now be played at Bower Fold a day earlier and with the earlier kick-off time for purposes of streaming on Our League.
It may not be too long before fans are allowed back in, but until then the RFL and all the clubs are keen to provide supporters with an alternative to attending and with the opportunity to watch their favourite teams and players despite the pandemic.
We will, therefore, be hosting Our League crews on successive Saturdays — this Saturday when Halifax Panthers are at Bower Fold and next Saturday, May 8, when Whitehaven are here, both kicking off at 12.45pm.
The summariser at the Halifax game is former Scotland national coach Steve McCormack .
Don’t forget that you can watch the match for £4.95 if you purchase it before midnight Friday. Leave it until Saturday and the price goes up to £10.
