Following the UK Government’s latest review of foreign travel guidelines, which comes into effect this week, the RFL has confirmed further impact on Toulouse Olympique fixtures in the Betfred Championship.
With France remaining on the amber list, and a 10-day quarantine period therefore required for all on return to the UK, Toulouse’s home match against Oldham, scheduled for July 3, has been cancelled, as there is no available match slot for a rearrangement between then and the end of the regular season in September.
Similarly, the fixture between Toulouse and Newcastle Thunder, which had been rescheduled for July 17, having been postponed on May 29, has also been cancelled.
The RFL will await the next Government update in July before decisions are made about the four remaining home fixtures scheduled for Toulouse between July 24 and September 11.
