OVER the years, the Oldham RL Heritage Trust has built up an impressive collection of Roughyeds’ match videos.
However, there are few that would be welcome additions if anyone has a copy.
In particular, the Trust is looking for videos of the following matches:
1: Oldham v Blackpool Borough in the Lancashire Cup on September 16, 1984 when Hugh Waddell, then a Blackpool prop, kick-started a career that took him to a Great Britain Test win against Australia in Sydney by scoring three tries in the Seasiders’ shock win.
2: Sheffield v Oldham on September 1, 1991
3: Oldham v Leigh on September 8, 1991
4: Paris v Oldham on April 8, 1996 in Super League’s first season
Any help in acquiring these videos for the Heritage Trust collection would be much appreciated.
