At last, the start of our Betfred League One season is just around the corner.
Our first League One game, Oldham v Keighley Cougars is on Sunday, March 27, 2022 (3pm kick-off) at the Vestacare Stadium.
John Roddy, Vice Chairman, said:
“From a blank sheet of paper just five months ago, the Club, Coaching Staff, Squad, volunteers and Key Partners, have all been working hard behind the scenes, to ensure that we make it a successful season both on and off the field.
“We are particularly proud of our successes in galvanising our Oldham Rugby League partners such as Rugby Oldham, the Oldham Amateur League, the Players Association, the Oldham RL Heritage Trust, and our new Supporters Group YEDS, all of whom are behind us as we all work together for mutual benefit and for the betterment of our great game in our great town.
“The club’s strapline for the 2022 season is. “**Building the Yeds Together”**and this has given us the energy and the passion, to rebuild and promote the club with new commercial partners as well as Oldham Council and the RFL.
“We now reach out to all of our supporters, to work with us and to help us rebuild the club and get behind our ‘Building the Yeds Together’ initiative.
“Together our target is to ensure that during the 2022 season, all of our home games during the season, are well attended.
“Our target is a minimum 1000 attendance and we firmly believe that together we can achieve this goal.
How? …Easy, we challenge every supporter to introduce a mate to a game, whether your ‘mate’ is a family member, neighbour or work colleague.
“We also hope that former supporters return and get behind your team and bring a mate with you.

“We can do this together Yeds. Please share on social media and let us know that you are bringing a mate with you.
“With increased support we not only provide fantastic encouragement to the squad, but the increased finances which follow enable us to further strengthen all areas of our operation.
“Please start asking your mates now,. Look at the discounts offered on home and away shirts and together let’s become the loudest club in League One this season
