A REMINDER that your chance to mix and mingle socially with our players — and even compete with them at darts — starts this coming Thursday, June 9, with the first heat at Oldham Event Centre, starting at 8.30pm after training.
Throwing their nine darts on Thursday will be Brendan Sheridan, Jason Muranka, Will Cooke, David Hewitt, Jack Coventry, Brad Jinks plus the fan who wins the draw from those supporters who are present on the night.
All are welcome — more the merrier — because the whole idea is to create a situation in which players and supporters alike can meet and spend time together socially in a relaxed environment, yet one that will still have an element of fun and competition.

A forthcoming initiative which Oldham Rugby League Club is calling ‘Roughyeds on Tour’ will enable fans to mix and mingle with players, coaches and backroom staff in local social settings away from game-days.
It will take the form of a nine-dart challenge at various venues locally with the highest scorers going through to the semi-finals.
Sponsored by Premier Suzuki of Rochdale, the darts tournament will comprise of four heats, then semi-finals and a Grand Final. Each event will be on a Thursday night after training, starting at 8.30pm.
At each heat there will be a raffle for fans and the winner will take part in that heat with players and staff.
Entry is free and there are excellent prizes on offer for the overall winners - £250 plus a trophy for the outright winner; £100 plus a trophy for runner-up; and £50, plus trophy, for third place.

- Heat 1 - Oldham Event Centre - Thursday, June 9
- Heat 2 - Fox and Pine - Thursday, June 23
- Heat 3 - Hopwood Arms, Middleton - Thursday, July 14
- Heat 4 - Springhead Sports, Social Club - Thursday, July 28
