Big day for Team Hill Charitable Trust

TEAM Hill, the charitable trust set up by Shaw schoolteacher Steve Hill MBE on the back of his many fund-raising adventures around the world, had a big day at the Vestacare Stadium last Sunday when they enjoyed our hospitality and presented the match ball to referee Cameron Worsley ahead of the game against Doncaster.

Some of the Team Hill workers, a charity set up to “make a difference” locally are pictured with the referee just before kick-off.

Steve was invited by MC Roger Halstead to briefly explain what he had done, how much he had raised, the huge role played by Team Hill and to tell people about his new book.

“What’s Next, Sir ?” (Troubador Publishing, £12.99, paperback) tells the story of how Steve’s mission to inspire his pupils taught him so much more in return.
