Four young loan players back in 21

FOUR young loan players — three of them from Wigan Warriors — are included in Stu Littler’s 21 for the head to head with London Skolars at the Vestacare Stadium on Sunday, 3pm kick-off.

They weren’t available last week because they were recalled by their Super League clubs for reserve-team rugby, but half-back Logan Astley, prop Jack Bibby, centre Alex Sutton (all Wigan) and stand-off Robbie Butterworth (Wakefield Trinity) are back in the running for Sunday’s Vestacare showdown when Roughyeds will be striving to avenge a 38-16 defeat in North London last May.

Also in the 21 are 16 of the 17 who figured in the 41-36 win at Midlands Hurricanes, leaving one more place which is filled by Will Cooke. The four to drop out of the 21 are Ben Holcroft, Jason Muranka, Dom Newton and David Mills.

Squad: Astley, Bibby, Butterworth, Cameron, Carr, Cooke, Copland, Coventry, Ferry, Field, Hartley, Hewitt, Morgan, Restall, Ridyard, Slater, Spencer, Sutton, Thornton, Whittel, Yarrow.
