OLDHAM RLFC wishes to clear-up some confusion about names of individuals or companies which can be sublimated into the shirts at no extra cost .
Some people appear to have the idea that individual entries are printed on the back of the shirts, like we do with players’ names and those of sponsors etc.
That is NOT the case. Anyone who wishes to have a name on the shirt at no extra cost is asked to put the words in the relevant part of the online application form. The entry will then be sublimated on to the shirt in the area of the hoops – a lasting reminder of all that has happened in the last 25 years
A great Christmas present for any fan, the shirt is a throwback to the original shirt we used in our first season, 1998, when, in our very first game, we won at Rochdale in the Law Cup.
At last night’s 25th Anniversary gala dinner there were filmed messages of congratulations from Simon Johnson (chairman) and Ralph Rimmer (chief executive), both from the Rugby Football League.
Both urged those present at the dinner to celebrate in style and to offer up a toast to the next 25 years.
Roughyeds also remind fans that next Friday, December 2, is the deadline for purchasing the new Anniversary limited-edition shirts in order to have them for Christmas.
