Roughyeds announce 2023 season ticket details.
The club will again be playing at the Vestacare Stadium in 2023 and the club wishes to point out that all fans will enjoy the ground improvements that have taken place there, and are still taking place, since the final game of last season.
Work is currently ongoing to increase the amount of terracing along the Whitebank Road side of the ground and in January the entire seating area will see new seats installed, thanks to a grant obtained by Avro.
Said Roughyeds chairman Chris Hamilton:
“Obviously. fans don’t get to see the works that are taking place outside of our season, but we work closely with Avro FC Chairman Rob Fuller and his staff and we are delighted to see the work that is currently ongoing to provide better facilities for all, both those who sit and those who stand.
“This is great news.
“A new tv gantry has been built and Avro have a number of substantial plans in place which will mean further, significant improvements to the ground.
“This is an exciting time for our club as we continue to build towards a new season and we sincerely hope fans will show their backing for the coming season by purchasing season tickets if they are able to.
Season ticket prices are as follows:
SEATING
- Adults £150
- Students (with proof of ID) £50
- Under 16s £20
STANDING
- Adults £140
- Students (with proof of ID) £40
- Under 16s Free
All adults now pay the same following a decision, made after much discussion, to do away with concessionary prices.
Said Chris:
“We looked at pricing very carefully indeed. We are trying to find a balance between the substantially increased costs of the club, and those it will face in the next 12 months, and those that people are facing generally.
“More and more clubs, and other places in general, are removing concessionary status and replacing it simply with an adult price. By doing this, it will help us to remain competitive. A lot of those costs are out of our control because we do not have our own ground as everybody is aware.
“We are very mindful of the costs that people are facing too and, given that we only have a very limited number of home games, and ticket income is by far our main source of income on those days, it is not an easy piece of work to get the balance right, but that’s what we’ve endeavoured to do.
“We have also had talks with Avro about offering our fans pre and post-match game-day discounts on drinks etc and details of these will be announced shortly.
“We have put together a squad that will be very competitive next year so we are hoping fans will get behind that and hopefully helps us to have a successful season.”

Students need to provide proof of being in full-time education by sending it to enquiries@roughyeds.co.uk when making their online application.
In another attempt to encourage families and younger supporters, the club has again decided to let in under 16s for free to all games (the only charge is for an under 16 wanting a seat due to the limited seating available, but these prices have been held at the 2022 rate of £20)
Season ticket prices offer a saving of £20 on normal matchday prices and they are available to purchase right away online or via the office by calling 07904 898177 between 9-5pm Monday to Friday.

SEATS:
Adults and students will pay a £1 upgrade; under-16s, whose initial entrance is FREE, will pay a £3 upgrade due to the limited seating available.
