LED by chairman Chris Hamilton, everyone at Roughyeds sends sincere condolences to the family and friends of life-long Oldham fan Sue Done, who, over many years, became well known to and a good friend to a lot of supporters.
For many years also she had a Club Cash lottery collection round, knocking on doors in the Chadderton area to bring in vital funds for the club.
Said our Club Cash administrator John McAndrew:
“Sue’s passing is a big loss to the club. She only finished as a lottery collector when it became too much for her. She loved Oldham Rugby and could always be relied on to come up trumps if she was ever asked to do anything for the club.”
Sue, who had watched Roughyeds since she was a child, lived in Chadderton.
We will give details of her funeral as soon as we get them.
