ROUGHYEDS can confirm that season ticket holders will be sent a ticket for this Sunday’s Law Cup game versus Rochdale Hornets (3pm kick off) to replace the missing West Wales game.
Just before the Christmas break, and after season tickets had already been put on sale, West Wales Raiders pulled out of the league meaning fans had originally paid for ten matches rather than nine.
Chairman Chris Hamilton said:
“We said we would come back to fans and had been waiting to see if we were drawn at home in the Challenge Cup as a potential extra game to offer to season ticket holders.
“Being drawn away meant this wasn’t possible, so we have decided to send every person who has purchased a season ticket already, a ticket to this Sunday’s Law Cup game.
“With it being a local derby, and with the chance to win some silverware at this early stage of the season, there is sure to be a lot of interest in the match especially after the encouraging performance yesterday against Widnes.
“We hope that fans will appreciate what the club is doing to remedy a situation not of our making.
“We want as many people as possible at every home game this season and hope to build on the attendance at yesterday’s first run out.”
Fans will be emailed their tickets to the address they gave when purchasing their season tickets.

The game is a shared gate so the season ticket value will be added to the gate in order to ensure Rochdale are not out of pocket.

Alternatively, pay on the day on the day is also available to those without a season ticket.
Admission prices are as follows:
£16 for adults, £5 for students (with proof of ID), and FREE for under 16s.
Hospitality places are still available at a cost of £30 each for this one-off match, including admission.
