Please note that our home game against Hunslet in a fortnight, originally scheduled for Sunday, June 4 but re-arranged for 3pm on the Saturday because the Vestacare Stadium was unavailable on the Sunday, will now kick-off at 1pm to avoid a direct clash with the first-ever all-Manchester FA Cup Final.
THAT’S OLDHAM v HUNSLET AT THE VESTACARE STADIUM, SATURDAY, JUNE 3, KICK-OFF 1pm.
Said director Simon Winnard:
“As has already been announced, we were originally forced to move the game from the Sunday due to the Vestacare being unavailable .However, following feedback from our supporters, many of whom are also fans of City or United, we have been working with AVRO and Hunslet to try to agree an alternative kick-off time. As a result, we have been able to bring forward the kick-off to 1pm, which will hopefully give our supporters the opportunity to watch the Roughyeds before the football.”
Hunslet are currently fourth in the table, only one place and two points behind Roughyeds, who have won five of their six games as opposed to Hunslet’s four wins from six.
Take away runaway leaders Dewsbury Rams, who play here tomorrow (Sunday) in a full-house humdinger which is FREE for all those with online tickets, and Stu Littler’s men can boast the best attacking record with 222 points and the second-best defensive record with 98 against compared with the 76 currently posted by . . . Hunslet.
