TWO more Oldham players face RFL disciplinary issues following today’s circulation of the latest Match Review Panel minutes.
On-loan Samy Kibula and in-form Kian Morgan sit out Oldham’s big game at table-toppers Dewsbury Rams tomorrow (Fri) because of one-match bans picked up in the London Skolars game.
Now comes news of Zac Baker’s one-match penalty notice for an alleged grade ‘B’ striking offence in the Doncaster game and of Jordan Paga’s alleged grade ‘E’ offence in the same game which has been referred to the Tribunal. Jordan is said to have ‘made unnecessary contact with a player who is, or may be or may not be, injured.”
Like Baker, Doncaster’s Ben Johnston faced a grade ‘B’ striking offence, but he picked up a £40 fine whereas Baker is set to miss the home game against Workington Town on Sunday week, July 2.
Replacing Kibula and Morgan in the 21-man Oldham squad for the game at Dewsbury tomorrow (7.30pm kick off) are hooker Tom Forber, dual-reg from Wigan Warriors, and James Thornton.
