FRANK Rothwell, Oldham-born owner of Oldham Athletic, helped the new Oldham RLFC board considerably to sort out the deal that will see Roughyeds set up home base at Boundary Park next season, which will enable the town’s Rugby League club to benefit from income sources it has never enjoyed before, said managing director Mike Ford on a BBC 5 Live Podcast called A Ford Fiesta!
He said Frank, proud of his town, proud of his club and proud of all that has come out of Oldham, would be thrilled to see Roughyeds playing at Boundary Park on a spanking new pitch, Installed and paid for by Oldham Council.
