CLUB chairman BILL QUINN has issued a second message to fans in view of all that’s happening behind the scenes.
He said:
“Thank you very much everyone for your response to my previous update. I will endeavour to keep this going as and when news is available.
“Player recruitment is coming along nicely and our squad is looking very strong for next year. Isn’t it great to have Brendan still on board.
“We are still waiting for the go-ahead to announce the name of our new head coach, but keep guessing guys and gals. All will be revealed as soon as possible. To answer one of your questions, yes the coach is aware of all signings and is looking forward to working with everyone. He’s also clued up on what we are doing off the field.
“By the way, we plan to hold a fans’ forum early in November and that will be a great opportunity for you all to meet the coach and the squad and to ask any questions you might have. The forum will be held round about November 7, but there will be more announcements to follow on this, Including confirmation of the date.
“Replica kit and other merchandise will be ready before Christmas so, hopefully, that will help you with Christmas presents.
“As for Melrose, we will be starting work very shortly. The clubhouse will get additional structures and we will be building a road up to it. Lots of other projects need to be done and any help will be much appreciated.
