OLDHAM RLFC and VX3 have announced a significant three-year partnership that will see the sportswear brand become the Official Kit Partner.
The deal will see VX3 manufacture the club’s home and away kits, training range, and the kits for the Oldham Lions teams.
The Paignton-based sportswear brand supplies kits for the likes of Salford Red Devils, Wales and Scotland Rugby League – as well as a whole host of union and football clubs.
One of the core aims of VX3, which stands for Veni Vidi Vici – latin for I came, I saw, I conquered – is to equip athletes to conquer.
As part of the deal, Roughyeds merchandise will be able to be purchased through the VX3 website – as well as through the club’s own online shop.
The shop will be up and running in the coming days, with fans able to pre-order replica kits and a variety of leisurewear including bobble hats, baseball caps and hoodies available to purchase, too.
Orders will be sent upon receipt of the stock on December 15, ensuring delivery in time for Christmas.
Managing director Mike Ford said:
“We’re naturally delighted to announce this long-term partnership with VX3.
“We have been very impressed with the professionalism of VX3 with the first team training kit arriving ahead of time.
“The kit which we have received is of a high standard and quality and we can’t wait to put it on sale to fans.”
VX3 director, Ben Lovell, said:
“We are excited to enter into a long-term partnership with Oldham Rugby League – a club that, like VX3, has big ambition.
“We are pleased to be expanding our footprint in the Rugby League market, and we’re looking forward to providing the team, and the growing fanbase with excellent designs, a broad range of product and excellent service.”
